Happy New Year, friends! I pray that you are healthy and have enjoyed the holidays. Our meeting will be this Friday, 1/8, at 9 a.m. Bring your critiques.
As is now common, be sure you are feeling well before joining us. While we don’t require masks, we are able to sit further apart. Let me know in the comments if you will attend. I will confirm by Thursday afternoon.
Merry Christmas, friends! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration amid these crazy times. Forgive me for canceling another meeting, but I am right in the middle of migraine and TMJ treatments. I get more injections in my jaw, head, and neck today and will have difficulty talking for the rest of the week. The first round of injections seems to be helping already, so I am hopeful to be much better in January.
Please note that we will not meet on January 1. Our next meeting will be on January 8, 2021.
I pray for peace, hope, and joy for you this holiday season as we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Immanuel, God with us (Isaiah 7:14).
It looks like we are all super busy this month, so I have canceled our meeting this Friday. I will see if the speaker is available for our December meeting.
I’m praying for our country today during this pivotal time in our history. No matter what happens, God is in control. Peace to each of you.
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalm 46:10 NIV)
We are planning to meet this Friday with a guest speaker, but I’ve only heard from three people. Please let me know today if you will be able to attend on Friday. If we don’t have many people, I’ll ask her to present next month. If December is busy for everyone, we can wait until January. Please let me know your thoughts and availability. Thank you.
Happy fall, everyone! I’m so thankful for the cooler temps.
I’m sending a message early for our upcoming meeting to let you know about a special speaker for November 6. Melanie Chitwood will be joining us via Zoom to present some info on writing devotions. She works with Proverbs 31 Ministries, is a life coach (nextstepcoachingservices.com), and has just written a new book about writing devos.
We will still meet in my home and participate in the presentation together, but anyone who wishes to join during Melanie’s presentation can join via Zoom. Please let me know in the comments if you will be in person or online. She will begin at 9:30 for about thirty to forty minutes. We will also do our critiques as usual, beginning at 9:00 a.m and continuing after.
It was great to be back together in September. I hope to see you again this Friday, 10/2. Let me know if you can join us at 9 a.m.
Please note that you are welcome to wear a mask or not, but most of us will not be wearing them. We can sit farther apart if you prefer.
I’m delighted to announce that we can meet this coming Friday, 10/4. If you are comfortable coming into my home, please join us at 9:00 a.m. Let me know if you need the address. Leave a comment below for me to get a count. Check back on Thursday for confirmation.
You are welcome to wear a mask or not, based on your comfort level. No pressure either way. My family is healthy and has been throughout the pandemic. Only attend if you are healthy as well.
Please note that last month I had to cancel due to severe migraines. I am not sick. I do not have COVID and was tested to be sure.
It’s time again for our monthly meeting, but I’m wondering if we want to meet. I’m happy to open my home to everyone who is comfortable attending. Please let me know in the comments if you are available and would like to attend this Friday (8/7) at 9:00 a.m. to do critiques. If we have enough interest, we will meet.
No pressure either way. My family is healthy and has been throughout the pandemic. Only attend if you are healthy as well.
Hey, friends. I hope you are staying healthy. I’m canceling the July meeting due to the continued concern about our COVID numbers. I’ll see how things are in August and let you know. Keep writing!
Hey, friends. It sounds like most people are not quite ready to meet yet, which I totally respect. Thank you for letting me know. I’m canceling the meeting this month and will ask again in July. I pray that you stay healthy and safe!
